There is a possibility of more people (JWS) dying from suicide than from refusing a blood transfusion !

i just recently heard of another person (jws) taking their life by suicide, a woman in her 30's.. sheesh, reflecting back upon all the other past jws that unfortunately did this, it creates an unnerving acknowledgement, jws are more likely to die from suicide than from refusing a blood transfusion.

i remember going back to the 1970's there were occurrences of people who i knew who were associated with the jws in one way or another committing suicide.. at the time i thought well people will do that just like the rest of the general population, not taking notice about the association with the jws.

but now i do see a connection in knowing of how people are mentally entrapped by this religoius cult in their psychological mind set and sociological behavior.

The minute I realised there was a deal-breaking false teaching, I felt overwhelmingly this false teaching had messed with the mind of a kind but simple woman I knew. She killed herself. I felt deep pity for her.

Field service shit show

i just got back from field service.

i haven’t been out in a few months so now we don’t keep any written records and we don’t know which houses are do not calls.

i also noticed i was the only one with a book bag.

One door I know if is covered in no soliciting signs. They are bright yellow and some are very large. From a distance it looks like the door itself is one big no soliciting sign.

1967 Harold Wilson's government took strong action against the organization of Scientology. It banned members from entering the country. Due to this L Ron Hubbard said Mr Wilson's governement was in league with Soviet Russia and an international conspiracy. Kenneth Robinson, Mr Wilson's Minister of Health won a libel suit against both Hubbard and his self-styled 'Church'.

Scientology attempts to take over Corfu - It was a warm and sunny August day in 1968 when the ship anchored in Corfu harbour. She was the ‘Royal Scotsman’, a former Irish passenger ferry, now carrying the flag of Sierra Leone, and housing what appeared to the local people to be a school.

Corfu’s British Vice-Consul, John Forte, had been asked to look out for the vessel, which had sailed for the Mediterranean from Southampton some months before, amid reports of ‘young persons detained under duress.’

In fact, the ship was nothing less than the floating World Headquarters for the church of Scientology, a cult founded by Nebraska-born science-fiction writer L. Ron Hubbard. The cult, designated as a church to give it legal status and as a charity to avoid taxes, was described a year later by the News of the World as ‘a perverted form of psychology which robs people of their initiative, their sense of responsibility and their reason.’ Less than a month before the ship’s arrival in Corfu, the British government concluded that ‘it is so objectionable that it would be right to take all steps within their power to curb its growth.’

Hubbard’s doctrine was based on miracles he claimed to have witnessed in the Far East; it sought a ‘scientific’ explanation, with mental exercises which would ultimately allow graduates to become an individual who has ‘willing cause over matter, energy, space, time, thought and life.

In a Michael Portillo program Michael explains that in 1968 Scientology was banned in UK. He interviews someone called Dr David Barratt on Scientology. Dr Barratt says he does not use the word cult to describe Scientology.

He also explains how Margaret Thatcher changed the legislation on Scientology because she had two constituents who were Scientologists.

Michael Portillo refers to the date 1975 for some reason. He explains that a person who is an enemy of Scientology can be lied to or have their property removed.

evening all.. during today's midweek bore-athon my mind was wandering as usual, and i was doing some (oh the horror!

) thinking.. nothing screams 'cult' more to me than dubs calling each other brother.. "that was an excellent talk tonight brother anderson".. "brother jones, we really need to go in service together again soon".. is it just me using people's first name.. "hi john how's it going?

Do you remember the Tuesday groups? They used to use first names, then got direction to stop using first names in the Tuesdays groups. To me it felt like they were trying to drive wedges between people. They were trying to prevent natural friendships.

Another thing I remember - congregations used to send their love to each other via the speakers. Then they were told to stop sending love to one another. I think the 'love' (or lack of it) is supposed to come from the top down only. It's not to go sideways.

JimmyYoung and JoenB75 - yes the elders do protect their children. I actually managed to df the GB before they put me in the catapult. But just before I took the password of the website I had built for df'ing the GB, I went to an elder who had been a good friend to me. I went to see if he would do anything to help me me so I didn't take the password off.

The issue I was talking to this elder about was that the 3rd year of Jehoiakim's rulership really was the 3rd year of Jehoiakim's rulership. He said, "you can't be certain." I said I was certain. Then he said, "you are irrational." I said, "will you look at the scriptures and show me where I am wrong?" He said, "no."

But his daughter committed adultery. She was going to be df'd but he sorted it for her because he did not want to be cut off from her. As for me, when he passes me now, he turns his face towards the hedge.

Half Banana - I am glad I am out of that cult. Also not everyone is shunning me. But thought I'd share my life on the shun with you all today.

Fink - I know it, believe it and accept it. I learnt a lesson - it was good education, even if I had to learn from my mistakes.

ToesUp - I am enjoying my freedom. It is wierd being shunned, laughable in one way, hurtful in another. But being thrown out by them is great in one way. I have freedom of speech and I am glad I have my voice. They tried to gag me and failed.

Tameria2001 - I am glad not to be associated with such a mind-control cult. It is vile. It is not Christian.

I replied, 'I am not disfellowshipped.' That was my shorthand way of telling her I was not apostate according to the Bible's standards. 'It was announced from the platform,' she said. 'But it wasn't true, I was slandered,' I replied.

She shook her head, turned away from me and carried on walking up the road. I left it at that and said no more.

She was on her own. I had given her a chance to get the facts but the power of the slander that came from the platform the night I was thrown out meant she would not listen to an innocent person.

Her son smokes pot. He is baptised and not disfellowshipped and she speaks to him.

I'm just putting together a YouTube on why 1914 is wrong using only their silly arithmetic (ie no dates). There is one bit in the Daniel book where they use the word 'critics' of the Bible and when you read it right, you realize they mean themselves!

Don't know if I'll get that into the video because I'm just dealing with their maths. But if I can I will.
